wow...do SoB WU's really only take 10min on a XP 3200+?

Just wondering because that's how much time it is taking... I'm used to waiting 2:30 hours for one SETI@Home WU to finish. 😛

EDIT: Crunching for TeAm AT of course. 😉

That's how long an intermediate takes, the entire test is made up of 500 or so intermediates. So a test will take more than a day on even a fast computer. Test = WU, the intermediates are mostly there for stats and some data analysis I believe. Welcome aboard! 😀

Eww...I don't know if I like that.

The actual number of tests you've done is pretty much irrelevant, as they get bigger all the time, and can't be compared to the tests completed a year ago. It's best to ignore the blocks/tests and instead look at your total work in T cEMs instead 🙂

Edit: Plus, another advantage is that your client has to do very little sending/receiving from the server... only a couple of kilobytes every few days, as opposed to what could potentially be several megs a day in SETI.
