save yourself the trouble. i've looked into this when i was searching for lcd controllers and pannels. i was looking for a wuxga dvi to lvds converter, but couldnt find one (i have found one recently, and if you want, i can send you the guy's contact info) when i was looking to make a projector. i gave up and got a 2001fp and am happy with the decision

to adapt from dvi or vga, you not only need the physical controller board, you need the right parameters flashed to the board's bios, and that's the tough part to get
