I wonder Anhueser Busch has an overstock of beer, as a result of Katrina

I mean, I damn, I couldn't buy a case of this crap this cheap when I was in high school (class of 94)

I would doubt if its Katrina related, but I don't know. American beers have been on sale for the last couple of weeks now. Case of 20 Bud for $5 if I remember correctly. Case of 20 Coors Light bottlenecks for $10.

these are 12 pack cases you're talking bout right?

no way a 24 pack case will go for that cheap.

yeah, what I am saying is that one of the party centers of the country is out of commission....is this resulting in a glut of beer with "born on dates" that needs to be sold

24 packs (HyVee in Charles City, Iowa)

another place had 2 30packs for $22 (the Music Station conveinience store, Cedar Falls, IA)

That's ~$0.36 a beer

like I said, it wasn't even this cheap 10 years ago

I guess it could very well be Katrina related. Im sure Anhueser Busch had an X amount of cases slated to be shipped to that region and now have to go somewhere else. Places have too much and are unloading them for cheap.
