Wow Call of Duty 4 looks incredible!

After seeing that video I'm REALLY looking forward to that game. I loved COD2 but now I'm sick of the WW2 and I haven't played a modern warfare game in a LONG time (maybe not ever) that I enjoyed. I hated the BF series after 1942 so this game looks like it'll be getting me into it 🙂

Probably because it isn't something they can just port over to the Wii. The Wii isn't capable of this level of graphics. They'd pretty much have to create a whole other game like they did with the COD that is on the Wii now.

This game looks like it's gonna rock, but I hope they don't include any 1 on 1 fight sequences like they did in COD3. Those were just plain annoying. I wonder if they'll include any missions where you're on a plane, since I've seen screenshots of it.

That was retarded. I don't even know why they stuck that into the game. It served no real purpose.

Yeah...that was really just a shoe-in for the wii, and that didnt work out too well.

Unless infinity ward completely lost their skillz, COD4 is going to rock. COD and COD2 are still some of my favorite games ever, and I see no reason why COD4 won't make that list.

I can only hope they actually optimize it somewhat for the PC this time around. COD2 ran like a dog in DX9 mode.

Meh. I was never impressed with the COD series...played it and just blew through it. A mindless time killer in my opinion. Unless this game becomes more tactical (which it doesn't look like it is) it'll just be a rental for me.

I wasn't never a fan of CoD either. The graphics were nice, but not the best... the gameplay was mediocre... the campaign was boring, I felt no connection to the storyline at all.

Exactly. Was just a "meh" gaming experience. This looks about the same, just set in a modern time setting.

I did play it on the PC... I'd never buy a FPS for a console. 😉

I can't imagine what shooter you thought was superior at the time COD dropped then. There were so many memorable parts in that game.

Eh, it had its moments, but the fighting definitely wasnt one of them, and it was seriously rushed and unpolished (the audio didnt even work right!). But it really was a travesty that they never brought it to the PC. COD3 was the weak link of the series either way, but since COD4 is being developed by the 1 and 2 devs, I'm sure it'll be bad ass.

It was too long ago to remember what was out at the time that I compared it to. The CoD series has a unique feel to the gameplay that I don't like.
