haha, yeah...i played super heroes when i was a kid...but this is ridiculous.

ok, i got a plan...i'm gonna track down the next larp meeting and light everyone up with my paintball gun...i'll call my self lord gakaron from the planet of z'kordz with highly advanced weapons...anyone wanna come? 😀

Ok, I talked to my coworker about these Darkon guys.

His mail as follows:

That's awesome, especially since I can pick out the guys I know from the field. DARKON = minimal rp, high combat and no atmosphere (they play in soccer fields) whereas my LARP is moderate combat high RP, high atmosphere, now I just need to kick our peeps in the ass to add a short film to our website ;-)



He knows a few of the guys, like the guy wearing a kilt and screaming.
Basically, Darkon is a bunch of guys getting really drunk and beating the hell out of each other. No RP, none of what the movie makes it out to be. They do this every so often, just drink a whole lot and wail on their friends with prop swords. Seems fun, heh.

For the movie. Supposedly they don't have many people at their meets, 12 on average. This must have been pre-organized for this sole purpose. Co-worker says that in RL they are nothing like in the film.
