Well I am currently in the Middle East (as in Asia) and have two options to buy WoW, the American and European version. The European version costs less than the American version. Any reason to go for the American version rather than the European version?

Well it would depend what servers you would want to play on and I think the american servers get the new stuff, patches and such, first.
Then again the American servers are more advanced level wise so might not be best if you are starting with the honor system.

I have some friends also that play WoW but they are in the US. Dunno whether I can connect to them or not.....
