Just got a call, after 17 years of rotating shifts and working weekends, I'm being assigned to a job that's M-F 7:30-4:00.

Not going to be using my elite nursing skills much, but WTF, I get to see my kids & wife a hell of a lot more😀

I think my dream job would have me working 12 hours a day for 3 days and have 4 days off in a row. unfortunately the only jobs around here like that are factory jobs. But the hours are awesome. 🙂
 
Cool. Congrats. It will be nice when I can finally get a job with the same hours day in and day out instead of working some now and then some later, etc.
 
Just dodged the bullet on a bunch of night shifts too, phew...

I don't sleep when I work nights, I collapse after the 3rd shift (or during it🙁)

We work 3x4 12s. I work Tuesday - Thursday and every other Monday. Not to bad actually. Generally I work Graveyard, but this summer I am on Day shift. I HATE that alarm clock, can't wait to get back to Graves. (BTW the hours are 6-6)
