Wow a case that flows 1708 cfm

My ears are hurting just looking at that case! 🙂 I wonder if I could get an extra 50Mhz for a massive hearing loss tradeoff...

What did you say? I can't hear you over that computer!

Eh?! Here let me unhook the diesel generator I have hooked up to my computer fans...Ah that's better. 😉 I seriously wonder if they provide room for an extra power supply for the fans.

Man if that kind of case can actually sell for $1050 I should get into the business of using a drill and holesaw all day long and selling my work. Oh ok I think that's Cdn $1050 so it's *only* maybe around US$700 or something.

"Clear for take off" .. "Roger that, Case away.., Flight Path set"....... huh?? Yo know, throw in some 15K RPM Scsi Drives, adn your dad will wonder what Exactly you used his CC for..

I could see it now...I lounge back in my chair and prop my feet up on my scanner, then my leg gets sucked to the side of the computer and i cant pull it away.

LOL...someone please tell me that is a joke 🙂

I mean I can see someone modding together something like that just for the sake of saying they built a case with over 1700 CFM...but to sell something like that is just plain insane. Someone needs to tell this guy that after a certain amount of airflow is acheived, if you want any better results you can either A) really turn down the room temperature or B) just put water cooling on the damn thing.

I'd be afraid that the airflow would either suck me into the case or at the very least rip my chip off the Mobo 😉 Is a chair with a strap harness also available as an option as that thing would suck you in like a jet intake in no time flat.

I am curious how the hell he powers it though...the fans must plug into the wall or something.

Did you miss the "Small nuclear reactor - $75,000,000 w/FREE U-238 pellets" option? 😉

After a second glance it looks like one of those huge air conditioning units you see on the tops of New York office buildings........

Also im amazed they offer a 300 watt power supply as an option, that must be JUST for the fans......LOL

Another post about this crazy case, it's a while ago but it was posted before.

Jeez, there's only so much you can gain fro air-cooling except more noise.

What that flying object? An ufo? No, just a case that wasn't tied properly to the desk...

OMFG... wow.

<< We have received many questions as to why we are building this case, here is the reason.

This case was built to be the Top air flow case for retail prodcution. AMK Services has held the record for top air flow in a prodcution model case since the design and marketing of the OCD-810 24" tower.
"The Overclockerzstore" claims "More airflow than any other case on the Market" found at this link
http://www.theoverclockerzstore.com/OCZstore.cgi?user_action=list&category=Cases

We felt we needed to up the bar so to speak and make 1708 the highest air flow production case on the market today.

This is the true TOP air flow case on the market 1700 CFM of fan air flow total

4 top blowholes 120 mm 108 cfm 42 Db each
7 side blowholes 120 mm 108 cfm 42 db each

4 front intake 80 mm 50 cfm 41 db each
4 rear exhaust 80 mm 50 cfm 41 db each

2 inside bottom floor 92 mm 60 cfm 39 db each
