WOW! 12 hours of chewing gum

Alyson Pierce of Atlanta, GA (left) and Paolo Alvarado of Chicago, IL (middle) won the Juicy Fruit Chew & Walk-A-Thon and split a $10,000 college savings bond for over 12 hours of chewing. Participating students won a new computer for their school as well as a pizza party for their class. Alyson and Paolo also won a year's supply of longer lasting Juicy Fruit. They agreed that the only thing sweeter than winning was Juicy Fruit's improved, longer-lasting flavor.


Talk about a long time.. especially Juicy Fruit.. its good for the first 1 minute then it goes nasty

Is it even physically possible to chew one piece of gum for 12 hours? My gum usually turns to paste after 2 hours or so.

ive done that before... its no huge accomplishment

(although sometimes it does turn to paste like some people have said... sometimes it doesnt tho)

i cant believe anyone would eat the same piece of juicy fruit for 12 hours.. i can hardly eat it for 12 minutes :disgust:
