I want to run 2 accounts on a single PC but one account each on each 22" LCD's at 1650x1050. Ideally I'd like to have max settings (shadows atleast mediumish) on both accounts, but at the minimum I'd like to max atleast one account.

Does anyone with experience with these know if the above is doable?
Since I don't play any other games other than WoW at the moment, I would like to min/max the build to reduce extra heat, power usage, and go for quietest as possible as well.

I have:
E5200 OC'd using stock fans to 3.1 GHZ
MSI P6 NGM (a budget board already with 4GB ram limit - Ill need to switch a new bobo, to get 8GB as WoW just devours ram, and even for crossfire.)
Radeon 4850 <-- Would crossfiring another one be better, or else which higher end card would you recommend?
430W HEC power supply - quiet and holding up good, if crossfiring to what wattage should I upgrade?

So, what should I upgrade?
Ideally Id like to spend as little as possible, keep the heat, power, and sound as low as I can.

And finally thanks for all the info.

I thought crossfire had issues with multiple monitors... I'd get 1 maxed out video card.

also, can you be signed onto wow twice on the same computer?
network port management might make this an issue.

Dual booting wow works fine from a network perspective. I used to do it on my laptop with a T8300 and an 8600M GT. I had both running at 1920x1200, but only one maximized at a time. Sometimes I ran in wondowed mode though. I had to use low settings, but it handled the load alright. Your desktop should handle it a bit better than my laptop. A quad core would be ideal though, since each WoW client will use two cores, but I would think it'd work well with medium settings

I currently 5-box wow but I do not run them all at max graphics. Here is my rig and settings.

E5200 @ 3.4 Ghz
4GB Ram
HD4830
Windows XP 32bit (I only use this because the multicasting software I use is no longer updated and the changes to the mouse driver in vista cause problems with it)
2x Samsung SM2343NW (2048x1152 monitors)

I currently run 1 session at 2048x1152 and the other 4 at 1024x576. I get about 30 fps in the big cities and framerates in instances are even better. Most of my graphics settings are set to low apart from draw distance and spell effects.

I can also have it set up so 1 is at maximum graphics and the other 4 are at lowest graphics but as I switch characters a lot I do not like it this way.

I use software called Octopus so that I can broadcast keystrokes/mouse movement/mouse clicks to all my wow windows and this also enables me to set up the resolution of each window.

I would go to DualBoxing.com to get some information on how to get everything set up. This will give you the information you need to get wow set up and running then I would experiment with graphics settings. If you do not have your accounts set up then I would get some trial accounts to try things out on until you have everything set up as you want it.

I hope this helps and if not try the hardware forum in the dual-boxing website as they specialise in this sort of thing.
