I though for sure this thread was gonna be about Grand Nationals.

As far as the car goes... Looks like a Camaro

"Wouldn't you rather have a Buick?" was the first thought I had tried to AVOID when I got my Camry...it's sooooo Buuuuuuiiiiiiiick, I thought....even with the stick...
...and now Buick has a stick and the Camry doesn't!

I would only wish for Buick owners that their car is as solid as Camry after 8 years and 100k miles....

The resemblance is uncanny.

Wait...no it isn't. That concept looks like trash.

I owned this 1993 Buick Regal GS for 16 years. Other than routine maintenance and tires, the only thing I ever replaced was an alternator. I actually wish I never sold it.

LOVE what buick is doing these days. When I was car shopping I was debating between the Charger I got and the Regal/Verano.

I doubt it rides like a Buick with a 1/2 inch of sidewall. Around here you couldn't even drive on the street, have to replace the tires and wheels weekly.

When I think of Buick, I think of the aging beige LeSabre a friend of mine used to drive. He would refer to it as "grandpa's car". GM's going to have to do a lot of work to shake Buick's image as the quintessential old man's car.

I think a turbo Regal with a 6-speed goes a long way towards doing that. That car looks great IMHO.

...you're talking about the Regal/GN (which name were they using again? I thought it was a GN) they showed a while ago, right? When you say 'that car looks great,' I mean.

Surely you're not talking about the I, Robot Camaro in the OP.

The beltline on that concept is way too effing high, as is the cowl. Seriously, what the hell is with the current trend towards giving cars the window area of a WWII bunker? I generally want my cars to have better outward visibility than a bomb shelter.

Slit-port windows are Mad Max chic. Seeing is a weakness.

True. I'm referring to the Regal GS which you can buy today. The new GN is due sometime next year? Not sure.
