Wouldn't it be nice....

In some ways. I can see why it would be nice going on the general content of the Off Topic forum, then again there are also the genuine nice guys who come here for technical help.

Lurked for 6 months until RaySun2Be threatened to expose me in the DC forum.

By lurking, one can pickup some of the rules (official and common sense) without getting slapped down by a mod or egoed members.

Wouldn't it be better if:

<< .... if all users were forced to read the rules before being allowed to post? >>

It really doesn't matter if you're new or not -- if someone new to a different forum section doesn't bother absorbing the do's and not-do's, you have the same end result. Just look at the senior members who go into Hot Deals and post something better suited in "Brag and Moan."

edit: clarification, and grammar correction.

no, i like noobies, much of the time they are more pleasnt than some of the regulers.. it just depends on the person, some noobies are trolls, and some senior and even diamond + etc members can be trollish...
