It'd take you 60 years to make 3 million.. If i had 3 million i'd prob get a job for fun and surely would NOT work hard. As long as you don't waste it, 3 million is much more than enough to live comfortablly.

That was what I was thinking. You also have to pay for bills, food etc.

Sure $3mill isn't going to let you live an uber lifestyle but it sure as hell is enough imo! Just won't let you buy a fleet of Ferrari's 😛. 1-3 wold be fine with $3mill. Nice house and invest the rest and don't go buying boats of yachts 😛

I could retire on £1mill 🙂

I'd train full time and relax. Work a few charitable jobs and just hang back when not training. Further my language skills and read more.

1/2 goes into the stock market (diversified portfolio, some moderate-to high risks. but enough blue-chip investments to cover my ass)

1/2 goes to real estate, I'd buy a bunch and just start flipping houses... If you condider this working hard then yes. Would I get a real job?... no.

but I would buy:

A nice car (nothing outrages, but probably in the $60K-$90K range
A decent house for myself: ~$300,000
A Home Theater

I might be tempted to pay off all of my Mom/Dad's debts as well. They deserve it.

Once I started to turn profit from the real estate, and I had about 15-20 mil. saved up, I'd look into building my dream home and buying myself a trophy wife.

You must purchasing that house in michigan. $300k in LA will probably land you a house in compton.
