Current System:
Epox EPCA3+ 875 Motherboard
Intel P4EE @ 3.4Ghz, Zalman CU7000 cooler
2GB DDR at 2.5,4,4,7
VisionTek X800 Pro w/ Arctic Cooler
4x80 WD800JB drives in Raid 5 (Highpoint from Motherboard)
Audigy 2 MP3 Sound Card w/Firewire
Antec Earthwatts 500 PS
Antech P160 Case
CD Burner and DVD Burner

My Thoughts:
Option 1
Replace drives with 2 500GB Sata in Raid 1
Replace ATI X800 with an AGP X1950 PRO or maybe HD 2600 XT
Wait for Penryn and DDR3 build next year and consider the Graphics upgrade a throw away...
Cost ~$325

Option 2
Replace Motherboard, CPU, Memory, Drives, and Graphics Card. Keep the case, opticals, and PS. $700+

I want to play Crysis, Orange Box, and Bioshock. I need at least a SM3.0 card for Bioshock.

Your thoughts and recommendations are appreciated.

I would hold what you have and start shopping for a PCIe system, watch the prices and maybe buy after the holidays. I'm sure you can re-use some of your system. Personally, I would not put that much $ into an AGP unless you were planning on keeping it for a year or so. Sounds to me like you got the bug. Maybe Santa can get you started. : - )

If I were looking to do some gaming and had...
P4 3.4EE, 2GB DDR and had $300 to spend...
Here's What I'd Get to buy me some time in order to save up some $$$ for a major CPU/MB/DDR2/PCI Express upgrade.

Yea, been looking at that, not too thrilled with the reviews and comments about the drivers.

After looking at some of the benchmarks of the new cards against any AGP, I think I will wait - I can play old stuff for another couple of months!!!
