Would you trust this eBay Auction?

Been looking for an HDTV, and ran across this auction on eBay. And boy, does this look suspicious. Most of the auctions in the seller's feedback are private. He's even hidden the bidders ID. Only accepts MOs and CCs, and admits to money issues.

I wonder if I should report this to eBay?

No, he's prob selling stuff in the "adult" part of eBay, private auctions are allowed...

He's also trying to get a local pickup. That seems legit, it's a lot harder to rip somebody off in person.

Maybe his auctions are usually porn so his defaults were just set to keep bidders private.. no real reason to do so with this auction(scammish or otherwise, that I can think of!).

the whole gist of this auction is that you have to use his shipping calculator to figure costs if you need it shipped. whereas a normal tv of this size may cost $100.00 to ship and package and insure, he wants $533.00 + $55.00 insurance to ship it to kansas.

Umm, no.. It doesnt cost that much to ship a car from Jersey to Kansas.

I have no idea why you would keep a phone auction private. A few of them state things like fast shipping/great shipping. ??
