background: you have a friend w/benefits but she moved overseas. she's flying in to st louis with her co-workers/boss for a big meeting w/her client on weds. (hammering out a contract.) she has a several hr lay-over at jfk airport in nyc.

you live in dc. it's 5hrs to nyc driving each way.

drive up tues nite. rent a nice hotel room for 2 nights. meet her for a couple of hrs on wed. drive back down weds nite.

(renting hotel room for 2 nights because checkout is usually at noon.)

she's going to be too busy in st louis to see you.

I suppose it all depends on how desperate you are for sex. If you don't get it regularly like most of Anandtech then yes it will be worth it so you at least have SOMETHING exciting to tell your friends. For all normal people that find it easier to talk to girls a ten-hour trip for sex would be about as worthwhile as building a cardboard house. :beer:
 
also--if you do go--you lose a day of work. add that to your trip expenses and it'll be costly for someone you dont have feelings for.


and--IF you still go--don't come back without :camera:

Damn, you must drive fast. I did from NJ (by the tip of DE) at 70mph to Laguardia at 4am...took 3hrs.

Only if it was really, really good and entertainment came with it.

But not for just a booty call. I call my limits a 30 minutes for straight 11:00pm booty calls.
