I would take one for a past president. Would I take one for the president now? Is it manslaughter by nonaction if I don't? 😛 I honestly don't think I would, sorry to say.
 
I would only take a bullet for close friends or loved ones. Not because I dislike any president, but because I value my life as much/more than any of their lives.
 
If i knew i would live with no perm affects i would. Just think of the money you would get from talk shows and things like that.
 
There have been a few good men in that office in the past for whom I'd take a hit, but not Chimpy McFlightsuit...
