Would you take a 10% hit and get your rebate payment in 2 days or wait 2 months for the full payment?

This is for a $40 rebate.

Would you:

A. Have Onrebate.com take 10% from you and have them Paypal you the payment in 2 days after they receive it

OR

B. Have them Paypal you the entire $40 to your account in 2 months

What do you guys think?

It would really depend on the size of the purchase and the rebate, but in most cases, I would rather have it in 2 days rather than 2 months.

I can live with without 40 bucks.
I can also live without 4 bucks.

So its up to YOU. On one hand, whats 40 bucks? Screw it, wait 2 months and you'll end up with a suprise few drinks becuase you had forgotten about 40 bucks.

On the other hand, whats 4 bucks? Take the hit, get it now and go drinkin.

Looks like win win to me. Aint like its alot of money either way. In retrospect, I'd just pay the 10% and go drinking.

If it's just a buck or two I'll take it right away. The thing is, even after LARGE quantities of rebates we haven't had any issues (knock on wood lol) because we make copies of everything we mail out to them so if there's any issue we can send in another copy or something.

If the rebate was on a Soyo product or through Tigerdirect, I'd take the 10% hit. :D

LOL. They still owe me $35 from that CigarPro rebate. I hope that company burns down in flames.

They owe $50 me for a motherboard. It's still in the box collecting dust. Let's call Milton!

Screw rebates. I don't buy things with rebates. If the seller can not provide goods for said price at the time of the sail, I take my biz elsewhere.

Any idea what stores tend to use OnRebate.com? I would prefer taking the hit to get it quicker.
