PayPal has started to broaden its reach..but cares very little about its mercbants. Overall the payment is only one element in whole transaction process, will google gear of e-commerce financial transactions flow in a secure, stable and reliable environment with excellent support, in reality- that is going to impact it.

I've been an ex-paypal user for 4 or 5 months now - I just couldn't take it any more. But I miss the convenience, so I'd give a Google alternative a shot. Google impresses me in that they are smart enough to learn from paypal's mistakes.

That's absurd. eBay's ownership of PayPal only gives them a monopoly on PayPal transactions. There's billions of other CC transactions that neither eBay nor PayPal have any influence over.
