It's interesting that more places don't add gratuity by default onto the bill like they do in most restaurants in Europe.

This.
No reason carrying food to a table should entitle someone to thousands of dollars per year of tax-free income.
Hugh, where did you see that in Europe? I am from France and I have never seen that there.
Ugh. This is turning into yet another alkemyst-insults-everyone-and-is-better-than-all-of-you-lower-people threads. I'm out.

That's how every one of his posts turn into. When he asks for help it still turns out that way because he doesn't like the advice he gets.
Once a douchebag, always a douchebag. I still have all the MS paint & photoshop pictures from like 6 or 7 years ago when the whole forum used to make fun of him constantly.

I pay what's on the bill. If you want more money, charge more. Tipping is a silly practice and I would absolutely not participate in it.
I'm certain they're not, considering I don't know anyone who would leave any tip at all for anything less than exceptional service with a happy ending. How many roommates do you have now? I am sure the business sector is quivering over your post.
quivering.

I don't have any roommates. I have a couple of flatmates, but we sleep in different rooms.
What kind of cheap bastard would withhold a tip because the waiter made a poverty-level income? Jeez - some people will use any excuse to justify their own cheapness. If you are unwilling or unable to tip you should stick to Taco Bell, ya cheap fucks.

That's really just awesome to me. Shows how little their time is worth.
There's a reason why so many people try to be bartenders and waitresses, because they DON'T make poverty level income. Even without tips, in 90% of the country they make minimum wage. You earn tips plain and simple.
Who said "have to"? It's cheaper to live with other people, freeing more of my income for other things. Most people I know my age flat for this reason, and you're the only person I have ever come across who has a holier-than-thou attitude about it.lolz...again we get it..in your country you don't tip.
Still you graduated right, but you have to have roomies....or flatties as you spin them.
That's motherfucking sad.
But your time is worth so much yet you squander it on here trying to belittle other people? Makes sense.

Yeah, people are lining up to make this kind of money:

Most people become bartenders and waitresses because it's an easy job to learn.
I'm living with flatmates so that I can save more."freeing up your income" is what you do when you stop putting away to savings so much.
