Would you say a 2.53Ghz oc from a 1.6a is low?

I have my 1.6a at (158 x 16) @ 1.69 volts actual on a epox 4g4a+. That's the max i can get stable, but i see lots of people getting 2.6Ghz average. The cpu was bought on ebay since no more 1.6a processors were being sold and my mobo is refurb, so thats probably a factor. Weird that my mobo has 2 sticks of pc2700 @ 396mhz and it is stable at 158mhz fsb.

Yeah, nice oc. The norm for 1.6As is 2.133 to 2.4 afaik, the ones who get higher just brag more 😉
That some of us got higher is just due to luck (and maybe better components in the case of mobo and ram). What mobo is it btw?
And which brands of ram?
