Have an allowance of 35k (~500 a week), without having to work

OR

Have an income of 80k (~ 1200 a week), working 9-5, ignore commute.

Can't do both (i.e. no allowance + another job, etc.). I'm torn 🙁

3 years of allowance + law school, MBA, or Phd. program of your choice.

Then $80-120k job thereafter...why is this even a question?

I stand corrected😱

35K wouldn't give me enough income to cover my mortgage & bills and live the lifestyle that I'm used to.
if it was 35K tax free .... then I could make it work, however, I think I'd work for it and take the 80K

with a tax-free 35K stipend, I'd be doing a lot more gaming. Finally could get started on WOW 🙂 and forget about the 'real world'

Btw.. finishing up my 3L year in Law school.. so I'm more like -35K a year.

80k.

as much as the 35k option is tempting. i would be bored as hell if i had nothing to do 24/7. ive sat and had nothing to do for 4 months and it drove me nuts. working is good. keeps you occupied and out of the house. much better then sitting around bored. and 500 is not enough to do stuff. still got bills to pay
