In the end, all knowledge will be lost and has to be rediscovered by another future civilization anyways (unless of course nuclear war kills everyone).

i'd prefer to lead a life with a healthy balance of both, so why isn't there an option for that in the pole :p

If you lead a life of leisure, what would you do all day and everyday? It's bound to get monotonous IMO. I'd rather die knowing I did something with my life.

But I say this as a high school student who knows nothing about real life yet. I'll probably change my mind later.

Don't let this discourage you but you will.

The life of leisure implied to me at least that I could do what I wanted. I have no shortage of things I would like to do on my list.

life of accomplishments, but a lot of motivation is required. I am not finding too much lately (last 2 years).
