Would you put homebrewing beer on your resume?

I'm rewriting my resume and I'm debating this one, I need some outside advice. I figure it could be a good icebreaker, anyone in HR have an opinion?

It depends on the job.. but I don't know I would think most connect home brewing with rednecks and might look down on that. Where are you gonna apply?/type of jobs?

Depends on where you're applying, and how you carry yourself.

If you walk in wearing a dirty wifebeater and start boasting about your homebrewing, well...

Depends on your age. If 29 or older, yes. 28 or under, no. Just MHO.

Most of the people I know that homebrew have graduate degrees.

The rednecks I know usually drink Megabrew Lite.

umm... job is EE intern at National Semiconductor, I'll be dressed in a full suit at the interview. I'm not looking to boast about it, I just think it's a hook that might make me more sympathetic than the other automatons that will apply.
I think it's risky, it could work or it could backfire in the worst of ways.

edit: I'm almost 22 if it matters, but I live in Quebec so legal drinking age is 18 .
