Would you play a text game this day in age?

I was thinking about Lord of the Red Dragon, and how it was great to play on BBSs way back when. And I think I could handle playing a text game if one came out, and was worthy....

Maybe a good adventure, but only if it had shortcuts for things like GO NORTH.

I played the first few minutes of Infocom's Enchanter recently and typing every command like that got old fast.

Meh. Probably not. I appreciate their role in the development of modern games, and I occasionally still play old (though graphical) games myself, such as the Leisure Suit Larry series - but only out of nostalgia. If I hadn't enjoyed them in the past I wouldn't bother now.
