search or listen on the radio for a local job site. Like here in metro detroit, we have metrodetroitjobconnection.com (or something like that) too i think. Have you been to a job fair?

If you're desperate, I suppose it's an option, but unless the site guarantees that it will find you a position, the chances are likely that the only difference is that you are footing the bill instead of the companies doing the hiring.

Absolutely not. Have you tried the old newspaper and contacting local head hunters or temp agencies? I don't remember the numbers, but a small mintority of new jobs are actually secured from internet searches. They are, more than anything, a huge fvcking waste of time. I learned the hard way.

i would pay if i was guaranteed a job or get my money back otherwise i wouldnt

try checking your local paper, companies are paying to advertise that means they really are looking for someone.

No. I'm a stingy bastard who's satisfied with the results he's gotten from job sites. Except hotjobs.com. That site sucks ass.

I guess I'll avoid that site and go through a local head hunter. Problem is, I'm an International student in need of a sponsorship.

That minority has grown substantially in the past couple years though.

That's what I was going to say. A buddy of mine's found his last 2 jobs through headhunters.
