Absolutely.
I'd be all over the MX Revolution if it had changeable batteries + 2000 dpi.
Unfortunately I have a bad habit of forgetting to charge wireless mice so I really can't use a mouse with integrated battery. I ditched my MX1000 (new warranty replacement) and bought a G5, haven't looked back.
I would like to see a corded MX Revolution w/2000 DPI, that would be great.

the mx revolution is pretty. guess for office use and non gamers. otherwise not enough buttons for games.
How many buttons do you need? Standard two, plus scroll wheel and scroll wheel button has been plenty for every game I've played in the last few years.

Wow... how do you manage to go through mice so fast?

I did in 1998/1999 for the first generation intellimouse because I was tired of crap stuck in my rollers getting me killed in Quake 3. RMA'ed that twice... then spent 25$ on the MX500 and 60$ on the MX1000. I really don't feel like you can put a price on the comfort of anything you use 8+ hours a day.
