I'm saying maybe, but it looks like a deal.

Decent computer. You could easily play some older titles like Homeworld of Deus Ex on it, it will do all your notebook tasks like WP and internet very well. Its got a DVD player (i would prefer a CD burner/DVD player combo . . . . )

Its a good notebook.
 
IBM laptops are great, I'd say it's worth $325 if you can't afford a newer laptop and don't want to do anything intensive on it.
 
Wow, that's a good deal! If I had the money, I'd get it. I just moved so I'm broke. 🙁

I need a laptop for when I travel. Just for email/surfing/Office apps it would be really nice. Is that thing new? Talk about "new old stock." :Q

I would if I needed a notebook at all; as it is, it'd be just a toy. I voted maybe because I completely missed where you said "same thing but with 256 mb ram" and was about to reply that I would if it had more than 128mb ram 😛 I'd say definitely, good deal on that thing.
 
Good deal, IBMs are well-built and have excellent keyboards. My Thinkpad 240 was a great laptop in its day.

If I were buying a laptop now it would probably be one with an ATI mobile 9600 pro or better, but if I just needed a laptop for work and old 2D games this would be a great machine.
