Would you pay $250 for a case if...

Would you pay $250 for a case if:

1. It was a full tower case
2. Had very sturdy doors, with a great lock (an option with no doors also available).
3. Very quiet, in fact, almost non-existing noise
4. Very light
5. Very good cooling structure, in fact, one of the best in market
6. Removable trays, screwless design, lots of front and top inputs, etc.

Would you pay $250 for a computer case with the above specs? Can you justify such purchase? If a case did all of the above near perfect (nothing is perfect), would you care for its looks?

I'll greatly appreciate all the replies here!

Edit: Ok, there also is an option with no doors.

Edit 2: No power supply included.

Edit 3: Lets say the case will look something similar to Antec P-180... so nothing too crazy, but certainly not ugly!

PC-G70 and TJ07 are the only cases that would warrant this... I assume you're looking to compete?

My LLs cost a lot less. The money I saved went for better cpus, better video cards, RAM and better HDDs.

A computer with a door is not for me.

You're not going to get a case with all of that that is also lightweight and quiet. Perfectly happy with my P180, only thing I could think of that it doesn't have is a MB tray (which could cause rattling/vibrational noise) and built in suspension like the P150 (which has had issues with the rubber failing and the drive falling down, anyway).

I would love to pay $250 for a case. Well, $250 here in NZ. And to answer the question, I might consider it if it was perfectly tailored to my needs. however it would have to be DAMN good, coz I dont like spending more than I have to, especially on a case.

Haven't had a slide out tray vibrate yet in any Lian Li or SkyHawk.
P150 needs some surplus, large diameter, skinny O'rings=done.
It's about time Antec is offering the door, that should have been on the P180 in the first place.
As bad as the P180 is, atleast it's better than thier PSUs.

Nice case, but a little too rich for me. I think my next will be an Evercase 4252 - I can't remember if it was Zap or Zepper who mentioned it... I can't for the life of me differentiate between them.

The Evercase 4252 has a good basic design - I think both Zap and I suggest the 42x2 line when someone needs a good inexpensive case and doesn't care for the 3000-B's door. If you get one, howard, it likely will lack some needed items because your reseller didn't properly specify at time of purchase from Evercase. I'll be keeping some of the accys (HDD bushings/brackets) on hand so LMK if needed.

Thanks. I think when I get one, though, I'll be suspending my HDs (with elastic or whatever), and everything else I should have on hand.

I kind of feel sorry for Evercase. Pretty much everyone has been ripping off their designs for years; (I think) they were the ones who started the grommet mounting, as well as the side slits for air intake to reduce noise.

Try the Lian Li V1100 or PC-S80.

Yeah, but if you ever get kicked out of your apartment, you AND the wife can move into your case. So that's definitely a good investment.
