How so? xiaolingb probably had his max as 2k, someone bid up to like 1800 but still couldn't beat xiaolinb. But, it still raised his bid to 2000.

Maybe the two high bidders just screwed each other. Seems that xiaolingb had bid the $500. Near the end of the auction, snowywhite really wanted it so he bid some insane amount for it, pushing the actual bid to something like $525. Xiaolingb came back and said, okay, I'm gonna win this, and bid an insane amount on his own. In this case $2000. Since snowywhite had the higher bid, his just proxies xiaolingb's bid at the end of the auction.

Could be that these chips aren't worth this and it's just two guys who don't know how to snipe.

I'm sitting in 2x512mb Winbond BH-5 (rebadged TwinMOS) as well...

Wonder what I can get for them.... any ideas? I paid $150 for them last year.

Meh, I went with CH-5 chips when I bought my RAM last summer. They can attain a higher bus speed but don't attain quite the same CAS rating. But it evens out in ultimate speed anyways. Overall, with most of today's chips, it's a better investment going for the bus speed over latency. However, the Athlon 64 has a hard time jacking up the bus (at least it used to be that way), so maybe that's why this dude bought the sticks. Or he could just be trolling....
