Would you pay $10K to get front row tickets to see Motley Crue, Def Leppard and Poison?

On stub hub, there are a pair of front row tickets to the Arlington, TX show listed at $4050 a piece......I put the tickets in my cart to see what the total price would be. After fees, the price comes out to $10,310.00. Wonder if anyone is actually going to pony up that much to see these guys...

We got seats in the Citicard preferred section (at least it was row B ) for $160 each after fees.

No, but then again, I'd have a difficult time justifying spending $10 to see those groups...

None of those bands are...current, and very few old bands really stand up to their earlier years. About 15 years ago, we went to the county fair to see The Marshall Tucker Band on the free stage. Turned out, there was only one member of the original group...and even though it was a free show...I wanted my money back.

Stubhub actually called me back about 10 minutes later to offer me a discount if I bought the tickets....it went to voicemail so I don't know how much of a discount it would have been...

I wouldn't pay anything to see any band or bands, anywhere, past or present. I can't stand crowds.

On behalf of the crowds, we don't like you either.

1) I wouldn't pay $10,000 to see ANY band or combination of bands
2) I wouldn't pay $1 to see THOSE bands
3) Probably doing it intentionally to make $500 tickets in the 2nd row seem like more of a bargain. There's no loss to jacking up the price of a single pair of tickets to artificially raise the perceived value of other tickets. They can just lower it in the last 24 hours and still get a fair price.

I have seen all three but at different concerts over the last 10 years.

Motley Crue puts on a great show. Their last album was really good. I saw their Dead of Winter Tour (Canada only) and it was awesome.

Who in Hell will pay $10K grand for front row tickets to see any bands in concert? If I'm paying that much I want to see Taylor Swift in her birthday suit... But that is just as likely to happen as much as me having 10,000 to spend...

What does the $1k service fee cover? Gourmet nine-course dinner, limousine ride to the venue, free alcohol, and a handjob?

Maybe if it came with presidential suite, dinner at fancy restaurant, and hookers and blow.

Uriah Heep played near me a couple of weeks ago. I did consider going but that would involve googling which members were still alive and that would be too depressing.

All those bands put on great live shows. I've seen Def Leppard and had a great time. $500 bucks for front row sounds fair.

Vince Neil slim down yet?

They must be at least in their 70s now! Who's left from the original line up?

Mick Box is the only guy left. Mick is definitely in his 70s, not sure about the "new" guys. Mick Jagger and Keith Richards are even older than that and they still get out on the road.

You know, that would be an interesting discussion. What groups still exist from the 60s and early 70s with some/all of their original lineup still performing with the band? I just read a blurb that Blue Oyster Cult had signed with a new label and should be releasing a new album in early 2020. AFAIK Buck Dharma and Eric Bloom are still the bands leaders. Fleetwood Mac is still performing together too with the original lineup mostly intact.

i would not subject myself to those bands unless i was paid very handsomely.

no seriously.

ok , for five hundred bucks i would sit through that whole concert. $500, tax free, from them to me, for me to listen to them.
