Hi all,

I'm looking at a Sony KDL-60EX500 from TD for $1500. It doesn't appear that they offer white glove service. The only shipper listed for this is to be delivered in my location is "AIT Logistics".

What do you guys think?

Thanks!

I've only ordered smaller PC parts from them but never had a problem, not familiar with that shipper for larger items like that TV

It generally means they'll call to arrange a delivery time with you, and they'll haul it off the truck and bring it in your house for you. That's it.

I'd assume it'll be fine.

Got my TV from them and it was delivered by AIT. It was a very smooth and painless process, the guys brought it into the house and even let me unbox it to check for any damage.

I ordered a 60" Mitsu DLP yesterday. TD + a fairly unreliable TV = taking a chance. Adding to that, it was open box. Oh well, may be a $650 mistake, but I'm game.

Today I received my 50" plasma today from TD via AIT Logistics. The guy helped me carry it up the steps and the box was in good shape. I would have gotten it yesterday but the guy had to turn around due to the weather. I ordered Friday so shipping was really quick.

yup tax here in GA too. screw them. Also they drop ship from the big 4 disty so alot of the pricing is not too different. They score some mad deals from ??back of truck?? who knows from HP - i got some mad expensive Quadro pci-e x1 cards for dirt cheap ($15) when they were going for $150+ on ebay. so you can hunt some good deals from them. but their b2b customer service is junk. like buy.com - newegg definitely smokes them.

Tax really killed it for me. and their whacky shipping.
