This is the case in question. I'm definitely going to put three 120mm fans on the left side panel, but I'm not sure if I'm going to put lights and a window over there as well. If I do, I would have to mount the window, and then mount three 120mm fans to that window. And of course, I'm going to be sleeving both power supplies, and all of the other cables in there...

Definitely install lights and a window, they'll add a few hundred mhz easy.

Stick a fat pipe on it, drop it a couple inches, get a nice body kit with neons. Don't forget to keep it JDM, y0!

It's just too bad I don't have a use for water cooling. I've got plenty of space to put some resevoirs...

no, but then again, i think modding is way past its prime. my case window annoys the hell out of me now. the only mod i really want to do is to have the door hinged on the right side, when looking at it, so that the door isn't in the way of the cdroms.

i've got one of those classic antec 1040sx cases

Well if you're going to do so much stuff on the side, might as well show pictures of the side..or inside at least......

Why does the window annoy you?

Yeah. I plan on sleeving everything, and putting blue UV on the primary power supply connections, and black on the alternate power supply connections. And then get some UV lights, but I don't know if there is much point to that if I'm not going to have a window...

I wouldn't even own that case. WTF would I put in it?

If I did happen to own it, I wouldn't spend money to make it louder and use more electricity.

LOL. That's a good point. But the only things I will be adding that use more electricity will be cold cathode UV lights. And I'm swapping out all 10 fans with slower, quieter ones.

Unless you're actually filling the case with a bunch of 15,000 rpm scsi drives, what do you need 10 fans for? Just pull 8 of them out. Much cheaper, quieter, and the machine will still run fine.

My EATX mobo (SuperMicro X5DAE) doesn't fit in a standard ATX case. And I had 8 hard drives before I migrated to SATA... When I'm done, I will have about 16 hard drives in this thing... Gotta love hobbies. *eg*

Well, I was going to have one over the video card and a Xeon, and the other just over the other Xeon, while another one at the top to blow air out... Then there are the 2 120's in the back that I need to replace with quieter ones as well... All these damn fans are gettin expensive.
