Would you mix chicken with cheese in a pie?

A chicken pot pie usually has a cream sauce, so why not take it to the next cheddarlevel?

isn't that just a chicken quesadilla with a slightly different wrapping?

or a chicken and broccoli hot pocket?

Why not? Chicken and mozarella in a pie would be awesome. Just like the pasta they make with chicken and some weird type of cheese I don't know the name of. It rocks though.

Can I mix rice with that?

why not go for a burrito then? My choice burrito at Moe's Southwest Grill.. is the Triple Lindy minus the vegetables. Chicken, rice, pinto beans, cheese, sour cream, and queso sauce added. :) mmmm

Rice and cheese? That's barbaric.

Throw in some broccoli....and make it a cheese sauce. Regular cheese will dry out by the time the crust bakes. I've made something similar before and it came out good. Kind of like a home made hot pocket.

Well like my mom always said, if one chirps, and the other melts you should put them together in a pie.
