Would you like to see Star Wars Episode 4-5-6 remake?

I still vote yes 🙂 Star Wars had some great characters, but could have been vastly improved by better acting, less hammy dialogue, and a more interesting/complex plotline.
 
Helll yeah, I'd love to see a remake - but if they're gonna do that, then it'd better be a darker and meaner SW universe. I want to see the Empire BEING nasty - not just have it implied or inferred obliquely. I don't want to see the "Empire's Best" getting their asses kicked by friggen teddy bears. I don't want to see three or four Tie fighters chasing the Falcon, I want SWARMS of them. Four or five walkers on Hoth? Are you kidding? SWARMS. Rebels had better be sh!tting themselves when the Empire shows up. I want to see a lightsaber duel between Obi-Wan and Darth Vader that rivals the one coming up in EP III; I don't want to feel that OW was utterly outclassed and scared by Vader and basically quit. I want to see a society abused by Stormtroopers - I want to see the reasons the Empire is despised. I want to be repulsed by Jabba's court - not wondering WTF he's got a dumbass muppet band playing - I want to see HIM be nasty. I want more training on Dagobah. I want a duel between Luke and Vader that puts the EP III duel into second place as 'most badass'. I want more 'Force' usage during these battles - more stuff flying around and being deflected, more leaping, more speed bursts, more Force Pushing and Pulling and Flinging and Force Badassery in general. I want a bit more Fett, be it Jango or Boba - they were the best there ever was, let's see why. I want Vader to truly terrify his people; when he says "I find your lack of faith... disturbing..." there had better be serious repercussions - after all,you just talked some serious smack to the Dark Lord! Repercussions should NOT include being saved by a mere Grand Moff - Vader's the 'right hand of God' so to speak - Number Two - NOBODY but the Emperor calls him off. Along those lines, I'd also love to see the Emperor smack him around a bit, when he lets slip something 'good' or 'nice'; or when he's a smartass - remind him just who's boss. Solo? I want him to be a serious scoundrel; I don't want to be TOLD he's a scoundrel. I want to wonder who's side he's on. I want him to be a nasty character that shoots first and shoots last. Chewbacca? He'd better be seen ripping up some serious sh!t for me to respect him and other wookies. All that being said, there's stuff I'd like to see changed/revamped in the new ones too, it's not just the first trilogy.

In essence, I'd SO love to see four hour 'extended editions' of each with MORE. More Anakin/Vader. More Obi-Wan. More Luke. More Yoda. More lightsabers. Mo' better nastiness.

But maybe that's just me.

I want them to remake FF7 for the next generation PS or Xbox, but do it scene by scene EXACTLY following the story etc, just cool graphics. 🙂

first of all Grand Moff Tarkin was Vader's superior. He was in charge of the Death Star but was also in charge of Vader. Tarkin answered to the Emperor. Vader was an up and coming jedi.

I would have liked to see Chewbacca use the laser crossbow, rather than just see it in the publicity photos.

Obi Wan's death was necessary for the plot, and how he died was also necessary.

As for all the others, no one is going to sit through a 12 hour movie.

Lucas already screwed them once with the Special "Ed"itions.

If anything I want a 7, 8, and 9 that are directed by someone like Spielberg.

New actor will replace Han Solo, Luke etc.

If 1/3 of the people here vote they will love to see that,hell why not?

I know , the other 2/3 is scare to receive a dissapointement like episode 1 n 2.But hey, the story is done.Its written.Yeah Lucas can change a few things in the story but if he can give us more of star wars, ill take it.

I will ask the same question to you guys, in the end of may, after all the fan of sw will see ep3...and will love it.You might have a different point of view then.

Our society can't stop to swallow remake.So why not an episode 4-5-6 remake?
