NO NO NO NO NO..the rason why the new ones have garned such criticism is precisely becaus of the "newer technology, new actors, better lightsaber sceen, better space sceen..etc..etc... ," to quote you, and a lack of actual acting.

Harrison and others carried those movies...not the pos props they used....

maybe... if George Lucas had absolutely nothing to do with them.

new screenplay, new director, etc.

I would like to see a remake of 1 and 2, but only if George Lucas is dead or in captivity

Whoever voted yes doesn't know a goddamned thing about good films.

edit: LOL, but Nik makes a good point, it's not like they would get rid of the old ones, :p. Just another stupid movie(s) to make fun of, I guess.

No. This is just like the argument about video games where idiots want them to have sweet graphics at all costs.

Who wants sweet graphics if all you're really getting to play is pong?

you can't digitally insert chemistry between actors. as 4, 5, and 6 were the literal definition of perfection in film, any remake would be at best flawed, even before anyone was cast.

anyone who votes "yes" should be shot. in fact, i hereby personally volunteer to beat you to death with my bare hands.

No. However, George and his crew at ILM should go through all three films one final time and fix each and every light saber shot. I swear, even in the newest DVD version, each light saber is slightly different.

Its not just about better graphic....but god dammit, admit it, the lightsaber scene in ep i and 2 totally kick butt of those fight with Dv vs Obiwan or LS vs DV.
