Would you like to see an INTERVIEW with Sapphire?

I've worked towards this, and not the opportunity has come my way...

I have a PR Rep at Sapphire VERY interested in my idea of reviewing/interviewing Sapphire as a company, not merely a product review.
(Of course, the products will be discussed in depth too!)

What kind of questions would YOU like to see asked? I'll try to incorporate the most prevalent/important questions in the interview.

There's a snag, though... (There always seems to be.) They'd like me to be associated with a SPECIFIC site. I'd like to say I'm WITH Anandtech, but I don't exactly have permission to do so. Would Anandtech (or another tech site) like to lay claim on this interview to not only get it first, but to make it possible in the first place?

I think this would be a good thing for everyone, since there's so many Sapphire OEM cards around the market today. (You order a Radeon 8500 or 9000 OEM, maybe even the new 9700, you're likely to get a Sapphire card.)

So what do you guys think? Like to see an interview with probably the largest OEM supplier of ATI cards today?

Maybe it would be best to ask the Powers that Be first, before you ask the peons, hmmm?

There's a few things I'd like to see here at AT; that doesn't mean any of them will be implemented though. It's not our forum; it's Anand's (or his Board of Directors....whatever the case may be)

Forum Issues might be a better place to ask the Powers that Be about this. Good luck with your quest to be ankle-deep in the melee.

I wouldn't mind working ANYWHERE at this point... darn education doesn't seem to be worth jack right now... the IT market is totally flooded, so who needs a wet-behind-the-ears CCNA? Technical Writing would be excellent for me - if I could find someplace that needs technical writers.

My wife and I are on the very verge of buying a house here in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Now would be a VERY, VERY bad time to pick up and move to Toronto (or somewhere else) to work for Sapphire or some other company.
Unless, of course, it was worth our while.

TRY free-lance writing as a "side". You never know what will come of it.

I never thought my interest in surf forecasting would lead to a regular paid job for 4 years and finally into radio (although I am not currently pursuing it now, I could return to it if I wished).

No luck yet... No response from email or Forum Issues. Someone else may have to get the interview - I REALLY wanted it to go to Anandtech because this is where I've come to roost, the place I judge all other sites by.
