i wonder if two years from now we'll be seeing a post called "my girfriend's grandmother's grandaughter's mother's sister-in-law's son-by-conception stole $10,000 from me"

if u have money to spare u can give it to me. if ur GF is gonna dump u over this, then she shouldn't be ur GF. if ur gonna hand over the money anyway, then marry ur GF quick, cuz this big favor will be on her mind and then u'll be giving the money to actual technical virtual relatives.

and of course u can always savekaryn.....

do not import $10,000 worth of terrorists, we have enough of our own already. [martha stewart, robert blake, bobby brown, winona ryder, the Enron gang]

Finally, some closure.

Good to see everything works out in the end.

I guess this is another form of the ATOT effect.

I'm glad you didn't lend it, and glad to know that we were all right (I don't mean that in a told-you-so way) :D

Later that night, she calls her mom to get a better understanding of the situation and get a feel of the seriousness of her cousin's goal for higher education. turns out her cousin happens to be a lazya$$ who wouldn't do sh|t in taking the god dam TOFEL(one of the requirement in getting the I20 application). She was pretty upset knowning her cousin wasn't serious and decided to not lend out the money. :|
WAITAMINUTE!!!

Who decided not to lend out the money?
Was it you?
Or this GF of yours?

I'm not so sure you've come out of this completely yet.
I mean...yes, you still have that $10K in your pocket...but just who in the wide wide world of sports is deciding what happens to YOUR MONEY!?!?!?

If this were happening to me, I can ASSURE you that the very fact such a request even made it to my ears (and with obvious sincerity from the sound of it) would mean there was only one possible outcome: I would tell my GF, in no uncertain terms..."WELCOME TO DUMPSVILLE! Population: You" :|

Even though you sound completely pussy whipped, congrats on still having the money in your pocket. Watch out though when your GF decides when & where to spend it :) Maybe use part of it for some assertiveness training ;)

I agree! It seems that the decision was not an independent one. That means that he could easily be persuaded if his gf decided to become sympathetic to the appeals of her mum or her cousin.

That said, I would still commend him for not relinquishing it as of now.
