Would you help a guy

If a guy has been talking trash to another guy, but you know one day he's going to get jumped for talking trash. Would you back the guy up if he does?... Since he's really weak...

Iunno.
Little mini situation for me heh.

Dont talk the trash if you cant back it up. Some learned lessons involve a little pain.

Let him take a proper ass-beating, step in if it gets out of hand.

yeah i agree with sluggo, don't talk trash if you can't back it up. one of the harder lessons i've learned

we must consult the code rule book for this question... ah, ok i found something:

rule #7,847: the third, fourth, and fifth rules of fight club: if your buddy is outnumbered, outmanned, or too drunk to defend himself, you must jump into the fight. exception: If during the past 24 hours his actions have caused you to think what this guy needs is a good ass-whupping, you may stand back and enjoy.

Well he does need a good lesson.
But the fact he's really weak and probably can't last in a fight, so it would probably be one sided...

Iunno... been telling him to stop talking trash. so he doesn't end up like the guy I had to choke last year.

then i think you should invoke the exception in the rule posted above. the only way he'll learn to stop talking trash he cant back up, is to take an ass whupping. also inform him, kicking a man in the james westfall and doctor kenneth noisewater is not exactly playing cricket.

tell him to keep his mouth shut of he is in for an azz whuppin. and tell him that you have no intention to take a beating for him with his big mouth so you will not help him.

just a guy? no.

a good friend? eh, why not?

He's just a guy I know on my bus.
He's annoying, but bearable... We talk little...
I just don't know... Cause I really don't like seeing people get their ass kicked.

let it happen. Only time I'd jump in a fight for "just some guy" was if I was really itching for a fight or I though he was really in the right.

Start feeling pity for him now. When the beating he's been building for himself finally comes through, hope that he learns from it.

It's a tough call. I had a friend in high school who did this to the wrong guy. I decided the beating would be a good learning experience for him. However when it got out of hand and other people tried to jump in to get a piece of my friend, I kept them out of it.

I will always step in if someone doesn't appear to deserve it, or to prevent extensive (permanent) harm.

If it's a 1 on 1 fight then stand back and let him take his beating as long as it doesn't go too far. If they get jumped by more than 1 person and they are your friend then you gotta get in, if its just somebody you know then stand back and enjoy

As someone else has said, don't talk sh!t that you can't back up

there's something about talking the talk and walking the walk or something.

(i bet he thinks he can talk his trash b/c he's small and thinks no one would knock him the fvck out for doing so)
