No, that can be fixed for 10k or less I bet.
I would not want it back myself and I would ask for diminished value if they do fix it.
Did the air bags go off?
That's surprising--The damage must look worse than the actual collision! How fast was the truck going, and did it smash a utility pole or tree?Airbags did not go off.
Airbags did not go off. He's actually looking at it right now. Will find out in a few! Said the frame has been definitely damaged though.

Not totaled
Said he was at about $9550 in damage. Said he needs to look up the actual value but said the shop needs to take a closer look at the frame to see if any damage is present. The gaps between the fender and the doors are closer, needs replaced.
Also I'm guessing the value is anywhere from 15-18. So it looks like the repair process is going to start happening soon.
Smashed a utility truck! Which then hit 5 other cars in consecutive order. I think that's what happened.
Is it body on frame now, or unibody. If it's unibody, they can straighten it out and it isn't horribly expensive and then they just have to replace about 2-3k worth of other components. I had a similiar accident in Neon, engine compressed inside, front bumper gone, fenders and lights gone but no flat tire. Also didn't have the airbags deploy. Only cost them 3-4k to fix it. Sure your damage is going to be more expensive but the truck would be worth more. Without a deployed airbag it's going to be hard for them to write it off.
Totally unibody full size pickup...

You laugh, but some people buy the Ridgeline.🙁
You sure about that? I know in 2009 the Ram pickup had what appeared to be a full boxed-type frame.

That's a 2009 Ram demo frame from Dodge.
🙁
Of course that's not really full size so I get a pass right?
And yeah that one I was just poking fun at the idea of a unibody full size pickup.

Sorry I don't like trucks. Their big, obnoxious, damn near useless to most of their buyers, and tend to be driven by dicks. Most of that isn't the trucks fault, but it is the reason I don't really follow them.
We had a similar accident in our explorer. Wasn't 2-3k damage though, easily topped 9k and that wasn't with a full evaluation, but we had already determined it was more than it was worth.
Small accidents can add up fast, that doesn't look like a small accident.
