Would you go from a 28 inch to a 23 inch?

I have a 28 inch I-Inc monitor. Its an alright monitor. Its good for games and such, but for pictures not so much. I am considering downgrading from the I-Inc to a 23 inch IPS monitor like the Viewsonic or LG. Would anyone ever consider going smaller or is bigger always better so to speak?

It's really the number of pixels that's the most important IMO.

If you're not losing many pixels, and your eyesight isn't terrible, then I really don't think you're going to lose out on very much at all (except bragging rights).

A smaller monitor will give you a sharper picture, and the higher quality panel will make it look nicer all-round.

I was just going to say if it was to IPS, yeah.

I've setup a lot of 28" Hanns-G/I-Inc monitors. They're pretty great, but if you're after color accuracy, you'll want an IPS. The Viewsonic is the one I'd go with for the price. If you're just doing gaming or CAD or something that isn't as color-sensitive as Photoshop or video color grading is, for example, then I'd say go with a 28" or three :D

I tell you when I am using the new 23 inch where I sit I have to squint to see forums like this, where on my 28 inch its as clear as day. I sit about 2 Ft from the monitor. I just don't know what to do. The 23 inch is by far better at colors and sharpness, but the 28 inch is much better on my eyes..
