Neither one of us is religious, but right now I would give up anything for the one I love. :brokenheart:

I did. I went though confirmation at about 13 in the RCC then stopped cold...partied alot.. drugs...alcohol..womanizing...etc...then at 24 meet the love of my life my mom introduced me to who was one of her students and heavy duty catholic..best thing I ever did. Really calmed me down, more "normal" life and was good for the soul. I don't take anything to seriously it's mainly just metaphorcal and easy lessons for living nice with others.

No, I wouldn't convert.

Why couldn't they just have different religions?

Because what religion would your kids be?... big source of conflict for families.

bingo..the source of our arguments

Me neither. It's not like you can just say "I think I'll be Muslim today...and maybe Christian for the next two days after that. Next week looks good for Hindu." Not something you can really pick-n-choose.
