I find that the Voodoo 5 (which I have) is good for gaming, but the Geforce 2 (Which my friend has) is better for graphic purposes such as Adobe Photoshop.. I have no idea about the Radeon.

GTS seems to clearly have the best driver support and fill rate. V5 and Radeon may have better visual quality but to me this is a no-brainer, as nVidia seems to be the apple of every game designer's eye, and as long as you are comfortable using beta drivers you can tweak to your heart's content!

i'd take the V5 because i find it's 2D quality is better, and i play a lot of glide games ;) but driver support is questionable so i'd go with the GF2

Geforce2 GTS 64mb DDR is the fastest out of all of them.

If you want more bang for your buck, get the Radeon.

I just replaced a Geforce 2 GTS 64MB with a Radeon 64MB VIVO. The GTS was faster in games. But the Radeon has much better visual quality. Watch out if you run Win2K though, the ATI drivers SUCK. Nvidia's drivers are real good.

I second the Kryo II. Best bang for your buck out of all the video cards. Any $150 card that can beat the GeForce 2 in some cases is good in my book :D

More bang for the buck would probably be the Radeon LE for $77, can't beat that. The Kyro II is pretty decent too, for $150, and the Voodoo 5 is like $110, which isn't too bad. Then you have the Radeon 64 MB VIVO for about $160, so you can probably decide for yourself.

I have a GeForce GTS. I've got nothing bad to say about Radeon, though I haven't seen one.

VOODOO IS DEAD!!! The 5500 was the death rattle for 3dfx and anyone who barfs up "speed isn't everything" is in total DENIAL!!! Get over it!!! They're gone!!!

ATI Radeon, of course!
60+ fps at 1024x 32-bit in most games, better 2d quality and so on..
I don't see why you would pick a geforce2 just so you could get 80fps instead of 60.
