Would you find it despicable if a company gave out clothes with its logo/slogan on it to the homeless/needy?

No. They don't like it, they don't have to wear it - nobody's holding a gun to their head to put the clothes on. You get what you pay for.

Clothes are clothes, whats the difference between you giving your old shirts to them and a company giving NEW shirts with their logo on them? As long as the sole purpose of them giving away their clothes isn't to ADVERTISE ON HOMELESS PEOPLE (the thought of that is, however, quite amusing) I'd say let em...

A guy I work with said he was going to quit and give all his uniforms to homeless people and pay them to sit around outside our office. ;)

Hell, I think I would actually support companies who did this. I'd rather see their advertising doing something good for someone because all other forms of advertising suck ass.

In fact, here's my scale of despicable people:

pedophiles < advertisers < lawyers (the shady, seedy, money grubbing type) < *.*

It is exploitation, but there isn't anything wrong with it since both parties benefit from it.

Expolitation? What the hell are people paying money for? The paying customers get clothes with logos all over them.
