i've seen similar vehicles with huge tires like that and they are meant to go in water. the tires help it float.

Is it the tires, or the truck body? The tires are big, and I'm sure it helps a bit, but I don't know if they have enough displacement to float themselves.

what's scary about it? unless you're going way too fast and flip the thing. though it doesn't look too easy to get it back onto the ice
