Sure.

I usually drink tap water here that has been filtered through a pitcher. It tastes fine to me.

I always drink tap water.

Unless if it is colored. Or has large bits of minerals that collect in the bottom of the glass.

I grew up on well water though, tastes different than city water. I've also had water from wells that come out colored and had to have orange flavoring added. :)

Of course. Tap water is safer than bottled water.

The only exceptions would be if the local water was nasty with sulfur or other minerals that gave it a bad taste.

The only place I have lived where I drank bottled water (bulk jugs, not individual over priced bottles) was Hilton Head Island, SC. They have very strong sulfur in their water. Perfectly safe, but horrible smelling and tasting.

Tap water contains nutrients that bottled water does not. Such as fluoride for your teeth. Drink bottled water sparingly...

The only place I have refused to drink tap water was in India.

I forgot, but does Brita filter out the flouride?

LOL fluoride is a nutrient?

google it

hmm, awful lot of controversy over such a "nutrient".

did we have bad teeth like britain before we fluroidated our water?

how come when you see some of these tribes in remote areas of Africa with dismal water infrastructure their teeth are so pearly white and perfect? Must be a fertilizer factory nearby providing them with fluoride!
