Would you do this?

Have a older(right at launch) Xbox system with a cheapmod in it which does work good with no problems. I was offered $230 for it with a extra original controller and hookups. Nothing more. I was thinking about selling it and buying a brand new one with the 2 free games and newer S controller. Well the cheapmod didnt cost much and I put it in myself.

My question was do you think it would be worth the trouble. I know in the end I will need to decide for myself I am just asking for opinions. I currently have a Matrix which I have had for a month now which I had plan on using before I got this Xbox with chip from a friend.

So if I got a brand new one a Matrix would go in it.

What would you do?

Thanks for your opinion but a PS2 isnt a option. I have zero interest in it other than Vice City and it will soon be on PC.

any other opinions? Would the new system,2 games and S controller be worth the hassle you think? This is selling online BTW.

Well....you'll get the games for free, but don't forget that most places are carrying the Xbox for $199.95.........plus TAX. GRRRR! 😛

"Well....you'll get the games for free"

Don't know how you figure? As for the price I wouldnt be making anything off it after I ship and pay taxes. So I would be only getting 2 games for free mainly, newer S controller and new console. I will be giving a cheapmoded Xbox, old controller and hookups in 100% working order.
