Personally, I would find it hard to work for my significant other's father. If I were dating her first, I wouldn't get a job with him. If I were working for him first, I wouldn't date her. People looking at the interaction between him and I might think nepitism, or differences in one environment might bleed over into the other.

In your situation, I would talk to the father if not both the father and the mother together -without the girl around. Ask them how they would feel if you dated their daughter while working for him. Talk to them about complications with one relationship and how it would affect the other relationship. In any case, good luck.

Heck yeah! Especially if it would get my promoted (only for a company I liked). I don't really care about dating people for promotions though. I am very picky w/whom I date. I only date girls who I wouldn't mind marrying. None of that Shallow Hal stuff for me, where you bang a few fatties now and then to get it out of your system. :Q I can't believe that people actually do that stuff!

Heh, I married the boss' granddaughter! That was a hoot let me tell ya. Lets see, I was 26 she was 18(JUST 18) and I routinely would bring her grandfather pictures of me with strippers sitting on my lap,adult videos that I had and dirty magazines. Imagine their horror when they found out I was dating their precious granddaughter. Anyway, it worked out so well that we now have a one week old baby and we celebrated our 8th anniversary today. So, ya I would definitely date the boss' daughter.
