Would you date a girl smarter than you?

I voted yes, but as the relationship matured, I have a feeling that I might begin to feel insecure about it.

My ex was intelligent, but didn't use her potential at all...

My current GF I would consider to be my equal therabouts, I'm smarter in computers (tho she's not bad), she's better in math (and I'm an EE major). We're both good students with around 3.5 GPAs.

Of course.

It is a prerequisite (sp?). She has to be pretty dang sharp and I must be able to learn from her as I have much to teach her.

WTF are you talking about. The new SAT perfect score is 2400, English, Math, Essay.
 
My gf is pretty intelligent, I don't know if I'd say either of us is smarter than the other, though we definitely excel in different areas. I'd say I'm more street-smart and technically inclined than her, but she's definitly got me on book smarts. She's going for her PhD in Spanish/English (also speaks Italian) and wants to teach in a University whereas I just want to finish my Bachelors in Kinesiology so I can charge rich people to make their asses smaller. 😛
