You cant go wrong with NEC/Mitsubishi-great warranty as well

I've heard it to be a good 19". The specs are nice and it is really cheap. While they are definately better monitors, it is good for its price.

I have seen this monitor in a local computer shop next to just about every other brand except for Viewsonic. IMO, it held its own next to a Trinitron tube. Nice vibrancy, and contrast, and a great price to boot. Sure you can find better, but for that price, it is great.

Definatly the best non-trinitron flatscreen I have seen. If you have the extra money I would go for a trinitron because chances are you are not going to be buying a new monitor in a long time. But if not, don't sweat.
